Lauren + Kasey had a beautiful wedding day. It started at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh, PA. Lauren had such gorgeous and vintage inspired details from the heels, the pearl details on the custom denim jacket, and the girl’s matching button up shirts for the getting ready. Lauren was able to open a sweet letter and gift from Kasey before getting in her long sleeve lace wedding dress. Lauren and her dad are very close, and they had the sweetest first look in the lobby before heading on the bus. Kasey wanted a low-key getting ready, which was perfect for his dad and best man before making their way to the church. The ceremony was a traditional service which took place at St. Elizabeth Church in Whitehall. Once the ceremony concluded, we finished family portraits and set up a few extra portraits for just Lauren.+ Kasey with the gorgeous stained glass windows before heading on the bus towards the city. We first made our way to PNC Park, which Kasey could not have been more pumped about. We were granted entrance to the main entryway and then hopped on the Roberto Clemente Bridge for those classic Pittsburgh wedding portraits. We were able to go on the riverwalk for a few portraits before heading back to the Sheraton for their reception. Lauren + Kasey held their reception in the Reflections Room which overlooks the city of Pittsburgh across the river. They had sunflowers, pops of navy and champagne, and even a life size cut out of their dog! Not to mention doggie take home treat bags and custom coozies. They had a first look at the space before starting grand entrances. Their dads and the bridal party had the most fun with their entrances which made the energy electric as they were announced for the first time as Mr. & Mrs. Lemasters! They had a wonderful first dance, a delicious dinner, and some very emotional dances- Kasey and her father and Kasey and his sister, who took the place of their late mother. Once the cake was cut the dance floor was totally full and had the best vibes. This wedding is a perfect example of how amazing uplighting can be to make your reception photos pop! We snuck away at golden hour for some portraits along the riverwalk for some relaxed portraits followed by some celebration portraits with biodegradable confetti which was so much fun. Lauren + Kasey never lost sight of the true meaning of the day and incorporated all the things they loved to begin their next chapter. We also captured videography for this wedding day, which you can watch here.
