Kelly + Jim's Wedding Day | St. Bernard's Church | Double Tree Hotel | Greentree, PA 06.26.2015
We were lucky enough to get to know these two sweet people very early on. Once we had our meeting together, we knew we were going to get along with this amazing couple. We planned for their engagement session to take place during the vibrant Pittsburgh fall season and we all had a blast. Who doesn't love throwing leaves in the air for fall engagement pictures in South Park?
We were anxiously awaiting their summer wedding as we heard more and more details about their big day. Then finally when Friday June 26th, 2015 rolled around, we had the pleasure of seeing everything come together for this more than deserving couple. They just couldn't wait to be married after almost a decade of dating starting all the way back before high school! Nothing could be sweeter. As you can imagine, everyone involved was just as excited for their wedding day-a nice big bridal party ready to celebrate the true love of their best friends.
It was an absolutely gorgeous, sunny day which brought on the hotter temperatures. Luckily for this wedding, most of the action would take place inside including the traditional catholic ceremony at the grandeur St Bernard's Church in Mt. Lebanon and the reception to follow in the romantically decorated ballroom of Double Tree in Greentree, PA. They picked a special location to the two of them for their portraits, which really was heartfelt.
Once we made it to the reception, the bridal party made their creative & quirky entrances- the men rocking the traditional tux with black ties (we can't forget the basketball socks too!) while the ladies sparkled in their short nude dresses hanging off one shoulder with intricate details throughout. Of course, the bride and groom turned heads and looked spectacular in their wedding attire. Jim sporting the tux with a white vest and tie with his personalized cuff links which matched the groomsmen and Kelly was absolutely radiant in her sweetheart bridal gown with beautiful lace designs with a long train and veil. The smiles on their faces said it all. Then we were in for a treat--they prepared a fun entrance all-together and it was epic thanks to their fun choreography to the Cupid shuffle. The rest of the evening was spent hugging friends and family, sweet kisses, lots of laughter, and intense dance moves from so many who were lucky to attend.
To say we are excited for these two is an understatement. They truly adore one another and are so content when they're together. We know they will have many years of nothing but happiness and genuine love. We were honored to be a part of this special day and enjoyed every step along the way. We know this won't be the last we hear from this awesome couple.
Congratulations to the Taylors. Check out their wedding day below!
