Don’t be afraid to make a cool suggestion that is more out of the box or brainstorm even more ideas! I had a couple ask about a hot air ballon ride once (sadly it didn’t work out because it was going to be too windy-super bummer!!). I’ve even had a session in Sarris Candies in their Ice Cream Parlor! Let’s blow the lid off of boring location ideas and get creative.

Always remember, you are never left to figure any of this out on your own. We send out a questionnaire to get a good feel on what you both are really wanting in terms of style choices and overall look and feel you are going for. SLATE | A Modern Strip District Wedding Venue

I was invited to work with the talented Lindsey of Lindsey Zern Photography in the fall of 2018 and my goodness was I excited. SLATE is a newer venue located in the Strip District area of downtown Pittsburgh. It’s brick walls and blank space allow every couple to really customize their look and have the style and vision to their wedding that they want. SLATE is in the trendy area of a lot of restaurants, bars, parking garages, a totally different and urban vibe and feel, and you can even see a the skyline of the city from different areas. Lauren + Robbie were nothing but amazing and I had a blast working with all the groomsmen and exploring the Strip District areas before and after the ceremony. Take a look at this awesome venue and more of the beautiful wedding on that perfect September day!
